The short version: we collect what you give us in our forms, plus standard website analytics. We use it to respond to your request, do the work, and improve our site and advertising. We don't sell your personal information, and we never share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.

1. Who we are

Hudson My Home LC ("Hudson My Home," "we," "us") is a home services company based in Iowa. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website at hudsonmyhome.app, when you contact us by email, phone, or text, and through the services we provide (together, the "Services").

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a service request or book a discovery call, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• The address of the property where you want work done
• Photos, files, and descriptions you upload about your home or project
• Anything else you choose to tell us in messages, calls, or emails

Information from doing the work

If you become a customer, we keep records of estimates, scheduled visits, work performed, invoices, and payments. Payments are handled by Jobber and its payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card or bank account number.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website or open our emails, we and our service providers automatically collect:

• Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, and screen size
• Your IP address and the approximate location it suggests
• Pages you visit, links you click, how you got to our site, and how long you stay
• Mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and session recordings that show how visitors use our pages
• Whether you open our emails and which links you click, using standard email tracking technology
• Information from cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your request, prepare estimates, and schedule and perform work
• To send invoices, collect payment, and keep business, tax, and warranty records
• To contact you by phone, text, and email about your request or project
• To send marketing messages, where you've agreed to receive them
• To understand how people use our website and improve it
• To measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited our site
• To protect our website from fraud, spam, and attacks
• To comply with the law and resolve disputes

4. Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number and agree to receive messages, we may call or text you about your request, appointment scheduling and reminders, estimates, invoices, project updates, and customer support. If you separately agree to marketing messages, we may also send promotional texts, which can be sent using automated technology.

• Agreeing to marketing texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• We do not share or sell your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We only share it with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

5. Who we share your information with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure, measure traffic, understand how visitors use our pages, and measure and target our advertising.

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This helps us improve our site. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. Google Ads may use cookies to show our ads to you on other websites after you visit ours. Google's use of data is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your choices

• Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ad Settings.
• Block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Learn about opting out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common standard for responding to it, so our site doesn't currently respond to these signals.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing our services, keeping business, tax, and warranty records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Website analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting, encrypted connections, and access limited to people who need it. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
• Correct information that's wrong
• Stop sending you marketing emails or texts (you can also use the unsubscribe link or reply STOP)

To make a request, contact us. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

10. Children

Our Services are meant for adults and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business and the law change. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, such as collecting a new type of information or sharing it in a new way, we'll give notice on our website or contact you directly.
